Santa Cruz Band Review, an Annual Marching Band Fest

The Santa Cruz Band Review, hosted by the SCHS Cardinal Regiment at the historical venue the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, is the largest high school band parade competition in California. The Cardinal Regiment performs in the parade but, as hosts, do not compete.

This year on Saturday, October 15, 2022 over 50 high school and middle school bands will march through the streets of downtown Santa Cruz and perform on Center Street. The Santa Cruz High School Marching Band will lead the parade and the performances beginning at 9 am. Book your trip, come out, and enjoy the band marching experience in Santa Cruz vibe.

​In the Santa Cruz Band Review 2021, Keegan McCoy, the 2021 drum major champion, led the band as an honorary drum major. Keegan was asked because he was not able to lead the band during the the pandemic lockdown. Keegan graduated in 2021 and still helps in many band activities.
